A Parade of Chanukah Activities for 5782

Chanukah begins this Sunday night (11/28) and we have a host of Chanukah-related activities to keep you and those you love happily occupied through the holiday period.  Check our calendar and home page for links and details!


Sunday (11/28) – We'll kick off the holiday with a virtual candle-lighting with our friends at Tikkun v’Or.

Monday (11/29) – Streaming Movie screening – “Kiss Me Kosher” (see information below about the Hanukkah Film Festival)

Tuesday (11/30) – PJ Library Chanukah Gathering for Kids and "A Wickin' Chanukah": Exploring the Physics Behind the Burning Lights

Wednesday (12/1) – Joint Religious School Chanukah Celebration (TBE’s Rabbi Felix Aber Religious School in conjunction with Tikkun v’Or’s JLI)

Thursday (12/2) – Talk Back on “Kiss Me Kosher” (see Monday entry)

Friday (12/3) – Pre-Shabbat early candle-lighting

Saturday (12/4) – “Try Your Hand” Chanukah-Themed Painting Workshop with Hsiao-Pei Yang

Hanukkah Film Festival Begins on Sunday, November 28th.

Temple Beth El Arts Committee is participating in this exciting event!  Sign up now at www.HanukkahFilmFestival.com, using the promo code of ITHACA. Pay a fee of $36 to get your ticket in advance.  A portion of your fee will benefit Temple Beth-El!  You will then have access to 11 different films during the 8 nights of Hanukkah, beginning November 28th.  Check out the films! There is something for everyone, including the kids.
