Dear Families of Current Students in Grades 6 - 11,

Our teen program -- Ithaca NO’AR -- continues in the 5784/2023-2024 school year. Your child is welcome to join us!

NO’AR means teenager in Hebrew, and, as its name conveys, the program is open to all Jewishly-identified teens in Ithaca (regardless of affiliation and/or prior Jewish involvement). Ithaca NO’AR has been crafted with teen input, as shared with the experienced educational leadership of both TBE and TvO.   The twice per month schedule (every other Sunday from 5 - 7 pm) was designed with the flexibility to accommodate busy student schedules, and each session includes dinner and a chance to socialize with friends. Ithaca NO’AR is a place where teens can discuss relevant current events and topics with Jewish peers in a safe, nurturing space.  Opportunities to participate in hands-on projects (including cooking), and to learn from a variety of talented educators abound.

This incredible new program for teens is available for enrollment now, and need-based financial assistance is available, as always, as finances should never be a barrier to accessing Jewish education nor to inclusion in any Jewish youth activity.

Enrolling students for the 2023-2024 school year is easy.  Simply complete the forms online at https://www.tbeithaca.org/religious-school-registration.html.

In the meantime, should you have any questions about Ithaca NO’AR, please do not hesitate to contact me by phone at (607) 273-5775 or email me at director@tbeithaca.org.

l’ Atid, into the future,
