Purim is coming soon!
Any other year Sisterhood members would be in the Temple Beth-El kitchen baking thousands of hamentaschen and preparing to assemble mishloach manot for the entire congregation.
Sadly, because of COVID, this isn’t possible right now. So, we needed to get creative.
To ensure that everyone in the congregation can enjoy hamentaschen compliments of the Sisterhood of Temple Beth-El, we have a new plan that we hope will spread some Purim cheer during these uncertain times.
For Purim 5781, each local TBE member will receive a specially wrapped box of four assorted jumbo hamentaschen from Rochester’s kosher bakery courtesy of TBE Sisterhood.
To help make this special and joyful project a reality, please consider:
- Helping underwrite the cost of delivering mishloach manot to all local TBE members for a contribution of only $200 (this year’s version of the traditional $300 “Send to All”).
- Ordering extra boxes of hamentaschen for yourself, friends or family for only $12 each.
- Donating to help fund this and other Sisterhood programs throughout the year (including support for the Rabbi Felix Aber Religious School at Temple Beth-El).
Please join Sisterhood in bringing a taste of Purim to our Temple Beth-El family!
