Equal Exchange Fundraiser 5783
The TBE Religious School fund-raiser is on, maintaining our tradition of reaching out to the community at this season.
We are selling Equal Exchange chocolate, coffee, tea, and oil. This sale is not just for Passover, but most of the goodies could be part of the seder table. Completely fair-traded, most products are certified organic, and many (dark chocolate, coffee and tea) are kosher for Passover.
The calendar says it’s the season of our liberation. But something about the pandemic is keeping us from fully feeling some of the freedom we are used to, freely going out, traveling, and seeing friends and family.
We have modified our annual religious school fund-raiser to accommodate the need for additional layers of safety. So, this is as on-line as we could make it, ending with safety-conscious in-person pick-up at TBE.
Allying with Equal Exchange’s strong emphasis on social justice, we are creating this opportunity for raising funds and raising awareness. Fair trade principles are tied to Jewish values in many ways. Together we sustainably cultivate environmental stewardship, workplace wellness and community development.
Getting orders in by the deadline ensures arrival before Passover.
We are very grateful for the support of the congregation for our Religious School. This is our single fund-raising event of the year. Purchases large and small are appreciated. Be safe. Have fun. And thank you very much!
