ITHACA AREA UNITED JEWISH COMMUNITY

Temple Beth El is affiliated with  IAUJC. We are grateful for their support of our Religious School and our teen programming. IAUJC is an advocate for local Jewish organizations, as well as for the needs of Jews in Israel and other countries around the world. Since its founding, the IAUJC has raised funds, supported Israel, and made grants to local Jewish organizations. In addition, it has sponsored educational and cultural activities in order to allow community members to celebrate traditions and learn how to help people in need.

IAUJC also funds the Teen Summer Experiences and Camp Initiative, providing campership funds for Tompkins County children and teens to attend Jewish summer camps and programs.

PJ LIBRARY

With support from IAUJC, PJ Library sends high-quality Jewish-content books and music on a monthly basis to children from birth to age 9 years.  The PJ Library is funded nationally in partnership with The Harold Grinspoon Foundation. If you have or know a Jewish child in Tompkins County who would love free Jewish books and music, sign up here!

YJA (YOUNG JEWISH ADULTS) OF ITHACA

 

YJA is a social community connecting the young Jewish adults of the greater Ithaca area. They host a wide variety of events from holiday celebrations, social gatherings, and community service projects.
