Installation of Rabbi Rachel Safman
The installation ceremony of a rabbi is a moment of celebration and reflection. It is an opportunity for both the congregation and the rabbi to define not only how we view the role of the rabbi in the religious and social life of our congregation, but also in the Jewish community and the community at-large. It is a time when the rabbi, the lay leadership and the entire congregation meet to recommit themselves to the institution, its mission and the core values we want to bring into the future.
As part of our official welcome to Rabbi Safman, the Temple Beth-El Installation Committee is asking congregation members to help create a special welcome booklet, providing a platform for the congregation to express a thought or personal reflection on this transition. Are you seeking a place for spiritual connection, Jewish culture and education, a place to educate your children or find support for caring for your elders? In a sentence or two, please welcome Rabbi Safman and share a thought or vision for TBE as we move forward.
There are two ways to share with us.
You may choose to submit the electronic form and payment (credit card or ACH) below.
You may also print THIS FORM from your computer and mail it to the temple office.
Proceeds will offset the costs of printing and will be dedicated to the Endowment Campaign Fund and the Rabbi's Discretionary Fund.
Thank you for your participation and generosity. We look forward to seeing you at the installation.
Best Wishes,
The Temple Beth-El Installation Committee
