In Person Services Orientation

Thursday, June 10, 2021 30 Sivan 5781

7:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Dear TBE Family and Friends,

Following much anticipation and planning, we are excited to be announcing the (gradual) resumption of in-person services, beginning on the weekend of June 19.

While all-virtual services will remain our default for now, we will be opening the synagogue up to in-person attendance on the following Saturday mornings: 6/19,  7/10, 7/24, 8/7, and 8/21, with the possibility that other dates will be added based on the success of this pilot.

As we are learning how to make our prayer space a safe and comfortable space for all, we will be holding to the following guidelines:

 - Attendance at any given event will be capped at 50 persons with prior registration requested, but not required.  Service sign-up sheets can be found here.

- We ask that you stay at least six feet away from anyone not in your household/pod, even if fully vaccinated.

- We ask that you remain masked while in the building (exceptions made while leading services or reading).

In order to provide an orientation to the new "look" of our ritual life and answer any questions you may have, we will be offering an orientation session on Thursday, June 10 at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom.  The link is here  (Meeting ID: 815 2573 5027, Passcode: Shabbat).  All those interested in attending services in person are encouraged to attend.

We would also like to stress that even as we extend the invitation to congregate in person, we will be continuing to stream all offerings via Zoom (including "in-person" services).  So, those who, for whatever reason, find virtual attendance a more appropriate choice can continue to join us in that manner.

We are looking forward to welcoming many of you back and are grateful to those who have laid the foundations to make this possible.

- Rabbi Rachel Safman (on behalf of the Ritual Committee)
