On Sunday, March 5 our community-wide gala begins with a Purim Carnival, jointly hosted by TBE and Tikkun v’Or with additional sponsorship from PJ Library and IAUJC.  Join us on the Tikkun v’Or Campus at 2550 N. Triphammer Road between 3-5 pm for an afternoon of games, crafts, snacks, socializing and more!  Attendees are encouraged to come in costume and to bring a non-perishable food item, which will be donated to a local food pantry (monetary donations accepted in lieu of canned goods).

And, of course, we (literally) would not have marked Purim without a megillah reading.  Pull out your groggers.  Put on your costumes.  We are going to be rockin’ the Scroll of Esther during our Annual Megillah Reading, done this year in conjunction with Congregation Tikkun v’Or.  The evening of merriment, which will be returning to the TBE sanctuary after a two-year hiatus, is scheduled for Monday, March 6, from 6:30-8:00 pm (Note: Zoom access will be available).  There will be sweets, songs, short skits and a multi-lingual reading of the story of the Torah’s most celebrated heroine.  Special favors for those who come festively attired.
