Then tune in to a group discussion of the film on December 2nd at 7pm. The discussion will be led by TBE congregant, Tamar Gutfeld. Tamar is an Israeli PhD student in the German Department at Cornell University. In her research, she probes questions of continuity, rupture, and return through representations of families in German literature and film. As part of her interest in memory culture, Tamar worked on German and Israeli films portraying the affinity between the cultures. She moved to Ithaca with her husband and dog in 2019.
